We work one on one with each of our customers so we can understand and provide answers to the various needs for each specific business. Our business consultants work with you face to face to guide you through the process of obtaining licenses and permits needed in order to start your business in a legal manner within the State of Minnesota. In addition, you will receive advise about how to implement a basic bookkeeping system, a marketing plan, and business registration.

Financial assistance and training.

Our loan officers will advise and will help the individual to prepare a loan package to obtain business financing from the Minneapolis Consortium of Community Developers (MCCD) if businesses are located in Minneapolis or the west metro area.  The Neighborhood Development Center (NDC) will assist businesses located in St. Paul or the east metro area. In rural Minnesota we present loan packages to local Initiative foundations or other financial institutions that offer SBA guaranteed business loans. Individuals seeking this kind of assistance are guided and advised about every existing financing option available.
